The second photo looks like there is less snow than last year's. But I do know we're getting more snow. Last year I cabin didn't have any and this year there was about 2 feet of it!

Notice the white in the mountains ...

Northern Nevada, too ... there must be like 3 small mountain ranges there. You go up and down, up and down ... driving across northern Nevada
