Should this thread title have an exclamation point?

No, Steve, no exclamation mark unless you are a hammock sales company announcing the "Lowest prices of the year". The "National Hammock Day Sale!" would be your biggest once a year event.

Well the above post came up strangely.. oh well at least you can see it. Cute. Wish I could get in a hammock without flipping out!

Interesting read there, Carol. My computer won't let me see the photo/video either.

I once had two hammocks tied between the "singing" trees. The Grands loved them, but it seemed I never got a chance at them myself. Weathered away to strings. I would like one some day, but I'd prefer one of canvas rather than string.

That sparked a memory! At our old house we had huge pepper trees around our small lawn. I made a hammock out of a canvas drop cloth and the boys loved it.
They would get each other swinging so high I could almost not watch as the hammock reached it's high point it looked like it would flip over and drop them out. But it never did. I know that's not the relaxing way most of us want to use a hammock, but it kept them out of other trouble for a little while.
