Today I was featured in Etsy's blog, a handcrafted website I sell on... been there years, and they send out a daily newsletter from their blog listings. I was so lucky as to have an item featured in it!

So, I've been ordered to DEATH today, so I will be away baking and canning to fill customer orders for awhile! HOORAY!

Way to go on Etsy....your pics are very nice and it all looks good! I should look into that for selling some art and painted eggs.....how do you like Etsy and selling online overall? Any tips or advice?

I like it, it remind me a lot of BYC. You test the water some, then you NETWORK a lot! People are helpful and everyone is pretty open on helping you.

The most important thing on there is feedback, and your pictures. If you use the forums a bit, promote on twitter and become extremely personable with your customers you can get the recognition from Etsy. Like like good pictures and 100% feedback sellers... make them look good... so they slap you on the front page, in store critique sections and their daily blog :) They becomes free marketing... Ebay makes you pay for those perks in a crowded market.

If you want anymore advice and help setting up I am more then happy to help you get started!
