That was my first impression too; but then, some of the eggplants I've grow were thornier than that - and litchi tomato thorns are the worst. They volunteered this year among the tomatillo volunteers, and both DD & me as we were cleaning those out.wow look at those thorns! yikes!
In the past, I could only get the peppers from Asian supermarkets. Now I can harvest the fresh ones, I will use them whole (with peppers and leaves), the fragrant will be even stronger.Do you use them whole or fry and grind them?
