I love it that you give a gardening class to kids, Thistle. That's so needed in every single community in this land. People in urban areas are so clueless most of the time about their food supply, so having someone teaching it to children on a regular basis is key. I think all schools from primary to high school should have agriculture as a required course.

agree, all children should be required to take some type of agriculture class.....

Hey!

I suggested something along this line for @pjn a couple of years ago. How about if Thistle's class decides on a logo - insignia or mascot.

Then, we suggest that insignia or mascot as an avatar for PJN?

Thistle, are you able to count the kids' class as volunteer hours for your Master Gardener status?
With all the preparation you put into it, I would think it would count.

Yes I could. But I'm not involved in the MG program anymore. Time is a real issue and I have to work and I have a horse (!) making it necessary to cut something out in the summer.
So I picked the MG program and housework. :p
