My wife and eldest daughter have endometriosis. They both started by taking birth control pills and that helped a lot. DW has had some of her parts removed and that solved her problem, DD had to have a D&C when she was 15 that worked for a long time. She has had no troubling pain since giving birth to grandson Thomas.

Of course, I'm going to put my hat in the ring for good ol' castor oil....good for what ails ya. I use it for pain relief exclusively, as I can't take any kind of pain meds...and it works. It truly works. These all mention placing a CO pack on the abdomen but I'd rub some on the low back as well...the skin is thinner there and the CO can penetrate easier. It's cheap, you can find it at any pharmacy and it's good for scads of things, so one of the most versatile things to have in your medicine cabinet.

Listen girls ~ When daughter has her flowers ~ she get such back pain that she has to come home from work ~ I was told couple years back: Not to ask you ~ but if you know of anything that will relieve this terrible pain please let me know ~ she has a heating pad on now '''

It's OK my asking isn't it ```
Often heat is the worst thing to do. Get some gel cold packs. I use them all the time. They reduce inflammation. Sometimes you need to go from hot for the muscles to cold for the spine. Look up physical therapy stretches for the back. Of course having it professionally assessed would be the best thing to do. When my back starts to complain I go back to my stretches. Sometimes I stretch in a tub of hot water. Killing pain with meds will only mask the pain and lead to more injury. If you need meds fine.. But don't take them and run back out to the garden to injure it further. I use chiropractic when it gets really bad. Acupuncture is a big help also. Of course off season muscle building is the best thing to do if we were not so lazy.
