Chillin' In The Garden
The green beans, onions and broccoli look especially fabulous! What a harvest! I am hungry just looking at all that!
Thanks! I will store what I don't use in salsas, tomato sauces, stews, and soups.Greenthumb18 said:What a nice harvest cityfarmer!!
Can I come over for dinner?!
Those onions especially look really good, are you going to store them for the winter?
Enjoy!!
Last year at school I was eating some of those carrots raw. Someone asked where I got the chocolate covered carrots! One year at Thanksgiving I made blue mashed potatoes. Hubby and I thought it was a hoot but, my father-in-law and mom were not as impressed.thistlebloom said:Sounds like fun! There are a lot of new colors in vegetables now, I have Purple Haze carrots that are purplish on the outside and orangey
inside. You could really make an unusual looking meal with "normal" vegetables in ..er...abnormal colors!
