So sorry bj, maybe the potatoes will sprout back out. DH and I wrapped everything in bedsheets for 3 days/nights to keep the frost off. I just have a small garden though. Glad your chicks are ok.

Things here are JUST starting to bud and I'm ok with that. The fruit crop here was horrible. No apples, peaches, pears, plums, or cherries to be had. Then the heat just slaughtered any fruiting bushes. Strawberries were alright, blueberries were down, but there was not a raspberry to be found. It was awful. Ill take a late spring vs an early spring for sure. Only downside? You'll be lucky to get Yellow Doll watermelons to ripen.
