@journey11 You are sure working hard this Spring to save your summer. Sorry about the losses. One year we had record snows which bent my Japanese maples clear to the ground and buried them for a month or more. They looked pretty rough when I was able to uncover them. They survived it, though and I hope yours will also survive. Glad to see that you're warming up. Rain, rain, rain here for the next couple of days, but the weekend looks glorious. (Hope the forecasters are right :fl)

Yes, the weekend looks like the weather will be wonderful!

This has been just a little colder for spring than what we are used to in my area. Normally I am hunting mushrooms by this week, which requires 70 degree days and nearly 50 for the nights. My losses were minimal all considered. I can't complain too much.

Us too, Journey. I am going to put on my winter coat in a minute and start carrying plants inside. Mother nature is really testing my patience this year! Blustery and 28 degrees for tonight.

I'm still in 2 pairs of wool socks ;).

I used to be a person who wore slippers. Now, I just pull on a second pair of socks after I come into the house and take my shoes off. Wool socks. In winter, I wear wool "under-socks." I'm still in winter socks.

Some mornings, I wish I'd brought gloves for driving. The hat is year-around. I'm still wearing my winter hats!
