I have a tree in my backyard that I like. I'm not sure exactly what kind it is, but I think they are supposed to produce a small plum. This tree creates really pretty, pink blossoms in the spring.
I need help identifying the tree, and diagnosing a discoloration problem. Some of the leaves are extremely pale, but I don't know why. I don't see any evidence of physical damage to the the tree so I'm thinking it's a disease or nutritional deficiency.
Here are some pictures:
The dark leaf is the normal color:
Picture of the whole tree:
Any thoughts, suggestions, or sources of info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Linc
