One of the tricks is to stay far enough back from your front line of leaves so you can keep them all moving in the right direction. You have to keep working side to side, kind of like a cattle dog to keep maverick leaves from escaping.

Yea! Exactly Thistle! That's the work of it. All that side to side stuff.

I'll try the stand back farther method, and do more finger work on the trigger too instead of just holding it at full throttle.

One of the things about this awesomely made Stihl blower is it has a little less speed of the blow than that pull n pullnpullnpull that stopped working at such a young age. The Stihl starts on the 3rd pull every time. Every :weee:weee time!
