WOW that is one BIG and VERY pretty crepe myrtle. I would Love to sit a spell under it.Snow in October??October is welcome relief from the summer heat for us! Here is a shot of the crepe myrtle from last summer. Look closely and you can see the bench under it.

Sigh!I am hoping someone develops a
hardier crape myrtle for my zone.
The baby one I tended in a container
for 6 years bit the dust
during the 2012 drought.
That tree is a keeper. I've never seen one so large in flower.
