You can cook lettuce with peas & onions -- it's a classic French dish & very tasty! ** It also makes the lovely fresh peas go further:-

we are having quite cool weather perfect for a long season of spring produce ..I dont mind ..I put plastic over the tomatoes and they seem fine!

so force me to eat more sugar peas and escarole??

I feel so much for the states getting hit so hard with bad weather ...omg the news is always bad! we are just unusually cool with occasional outburts of wierd weather ..but no rain at all to speak of ...you guys got hit so hard ..empathy sent ..we do here in the Pacific NW have our moments and totally understand!!!!
