My grandmother always told us we would catch a cold if we went outside with wet hair. I swear that every time I do this I get sick! Of course my nurse daughter laughs and says colds are caused by viruses but then why does it happen every time? My theory is that when you get chilled it lowers your immune system so that viruses are picked up. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! lolIf you swallow your gum, it will stick to your ribs.
