If I woke my mom during the night (you know how kids have a way of silently appearing at your bedside in the middle of the night) she said I gave her a heart attack. Worried me enough to keep me in bed for a while at least.

Oh, and how some starving kid in China would love to have my dinner. So I said wrap it up and send it to them!

My grandmother always told us we would catch a cold if we went outside with wet hair. I swear that every time I do this I get sick! Of course my nurse daughter laughs and says colds are caused by viruses but then why does it happen every time? My theory is that when you get chilled it lowers your immune system so that viruses are picked up. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! lol
