Was browsing some blogs and found this neat post on living arches. Willow cuttings that have been rooted and woven into tunnels and trellises. I think I might play around with this idea. Check it out!

Isn't that a beautiful idea??? Love it!!! My willows are just babies, so it will be a while before I can try that!

It's very beautiful & very romantic!
Just be very careful not to plant willow near you house, drainage system or any other building you need. These trees are mad about water & will suck it out of your soil etc. Their roots go along way & are very invasive........ In fact some insurance companies here will not ensure a property if there is a willow nearby............!!!

I still think they are very lovely & if I could plant them on some land two field away from home I would experiment with tunnels etc.......!!!!
