You haven't posted pictures of Larka in a long time. She is so beautiful.

Haha, I gave her a home made haircut, so she's less beautiful and more homely right now. Don't tell @Nyboy ! I've been meaning to get her to the groomer, then when I finally had the time and brain activity at the same time, I called and found out the groomer had retired and her place was closed.

One evening I couldn't stand looking at her mats so got the horse clippers out and gave her a whack job.
Actually it's not too bad, and she's cooler now and I saved $80. You know how much hay that will buy?

LOL Thistle every body tires cutting their dogs hair once. Almost all blame their kids when they bring in dog to be fixed. I like when they try because it shows them its a lot more work then they thought. One woman just bathed her dog, she said never again took half hour to bath dog took 3 hours to clean bathroom after.

@thistlebloom, do you have mountain lions in your area? We are getting an increase in sightings here. Between them and the increase in black bears, the woods aren't what they used to be.

We had one running around client came face to face with it in her backyard. Was killed by a car DEP claims escaped pet not wild. Woman who hit lion got death threats from animal lovers

I sometimes bathe my dogs, outside with a garden hose. It just takes a few minutes to bathe them but all I do is soap them up then rinse well. Clean-up consists of putting the hose and soap away. They dry eventually by being outside. My purpose is to remove the smell, not make them pretty. Of course the first thing they do is to find something stinky to roll in.

Wife’s dog is trained to go to upstairs bathtub when I tell him bath. He’s easier to bathe than kids were

Wish I could take credit as he has been the easiest dog to train I’ve ever been around.... He lives to please. Swear I think it and he does it. Now for my wife, he ignores her unless I tell him to. Pisses her off as it’s “her” dog.....
