This is my own double Amaryllis cross. It has bloomed before but I thought I would share it on such a gloomy day.. No school here because of the nor'easter. I don't usually have 3 boys at once. So far so good but , it is a long day. Pray for school tomorrow.

I have one that is just beginning to grow. I left it longer than I should have probably. Doesn't look like it will give me a bloom this year.

It will likely bloom-the season is not important. Only nurseries force them to bloom at Christmas.

Not always. The one I just showed sent the foliage first. It is also sending up a second stalk..
