Well......survived the first year. ALMOST "broke the spade" (garden for...you know) on Tuesday. Went to work to say goodbye but my bossman wouldn't let me leave until he had "talked me down". It's bad when the trauma of the 2 weeks overrides 35+ years. Spent the last 4 days beating back the jungle that the garden had become through depression-driven neglect (more on that, shortly). Showed you guys the "memorial ink" that I had done......well, it turned into a trilogy to give me strength.

NOTHING that I'll ever be told will be worse....... (the day the doctor told us she wasn't going to "make it")

NOTHING I ever have to do will be harder.......(the day life support was 'turned off')

NO loss will be greater.......(the day, the love of my life, 'crossed over')

I know we're all glad your boss was able to help you through that terrible time. Now get that garden back into tiptop shape, we want to see pictures of it all tidied up for fall very shortly! Just teasing, but i know for me, getting out in my garden is one of those things i REALLY look forward to and enjoy. Hope you do too.

Thanks guys.......I realized some folks (including my boss) don't understand, why, "the ink", so I added the reason behind each one, to the pics. I know that it's not how too many folks would "deal" with it.....but I've told ya'll, before......I stay about 7 degrees off-center, usually. And, each one is my own design.

Boggy, I am somewhat new here. But understand the power of nature and the gardens. My Sister has been fighting depression something awful. The garden has been her saving grace. May it be so for you. Hugs.
