Was the painting your birthday gift ?

Nope! My birthday gift(s) are two wooden shelves that go on either side of the mirror. They won't be made until the weather warms. Of course, I am still waiting for my birthday present from two years ago. DS promised to made a 'game' table for me. He reminded me today that he still plans to get it made. . . as soon as weather permits.

Here is a shelf. Mine will be much like this, but with a lower shelf rather than the quilt rack on this one.

Gee, look. Somewhere in there is a sort of selfie. Notice that I gave in and colored my hair once again. This shelf for DS's friend still needs some sanding before it comes to me for stain and varnish.

Thank you, Cat! Kermit is one of my favorite singing frogs and Muppets. The birthday song was nice. My favorite songs are "It's Not Easy Being Green", "Rainbow Connection", and his part in "The Twelve Days of Christmas".
