I shuck the corn, plunge in boiling water for a minute, then take it out and put it in cold water to cool it off. Let it drain, pack in zip lock bags and freeze. Actually I use food saver bags and vacuum seal, but before I got that, I used zip locks.

SoLucky: I don't think it matters if the fat is there or not in the freezer. But if you're going to freeze it for a LOOOONG time, then the fat will help cover that part that may get freezer burned.

I can shuck some corn......FAST! I chop both ends, grab the shucks and silks and rip them off.

Nyboy shucking corn is taking off the green leafy things (shucks) that wrap around the ear of corn. Is that a good explanation? LOL
