The clouds never broke for me to get a glimpse of the moon, although I kept checking hopefully. We watched it online, but it just wasn't the same. It was neat though around 3am when it was high in the sky just how bright it was outside. It was still cloudy and even raining, so I couldn't actually see the supermoon, but it was as bright out there as the break of morning. I was up all night coughing my head off with bronchitis, so I went downstairs to try to sleep in the recliner, but the light coming through the windows still kept me up.

There is "a scientific reason," Carol Dee?

Could it be because Life, of which we are a part of, has been on Earth for billions of years ... times 12 months? And, every one of those months had a moon circling the Earth?

By the way, for those who saw the eclipse, did you notice me doing shadow puppets??! There on the northwest quadrant, just about 10% into the eclipse ...

:) Steve

@journey11 for that cough, slice an onion, thin. Put in a jar and cover with honey, keep it in refrigerator. Take couple spoons of honey, you can eat the onion, as needed. You can't OD on it, take all you want or need. It kills the cough.

Thanks, Bay, I will definitely try that. Been taking elderberry syrup, which stopped the sniffles/congestion, but this nasty old cough has really settled into my lungs. I have asthma, so every stupid little common cold gives me bronchitis.
