Hi, I am trying to find a source for Macomb apple trees in the Southern New England area. I first discovered this wonderful apple last year on a field trip to an orchard with my pre school Granddaughters class and I want at least 3 trees to go on our property. Any help will be appreciated.

np! if i was closer to you i would have offered to graft you a couple if you could have found those 'macomb' cuttings. :p Macoun should be a much easier tree to find in our area!

Yes, and as many of those apples I have enjoyed you would think I would remember how to spell it. Stark Brothers has them, I was looking at their site when I discovered my mistake.

not a bad place to get trees from. i have a few i bought in 2012 from them and last year the Gala flowered for me. it had 5 apples on it most of the season then something took them just before they were ripe. i also have 5 trees from RainTree which 1 flowered in 2013 when they got put in but didn't flower last year.

i'm hoping i will see more trees flowering this year around the property. my trees grafted in 2013 probably will need 1 or 2 more years to be ready for flowering.

Burnt ridge has them in dwarf and semi dwarf on m7 root stock. I have ordered from them and was always happy with the trees. John is very friendly and helpful, wow I guess I must order a lot I know staff by name.

I got 5 red and 5 gold raspberries, bareroot sticks a week ago. Planted them and the sticks already have buds on them. So I guess that means they aren't dead, unless I do something stupid to kill them. :)
