spent the day anchoring the cages with rebar, installed the soaker hoses,watering all the babies in there. putting up the pole bean trellis and planted fortex beans as well, put up the cucumber trellis's, replanting lettuce and bok choi in the raised beds and watering everyone in there.
planted 5 rows of crowder peas in the cinder block bed<oh my lord chigger central> sprayed that area..will spray again tomorrow...
pick another big handful of asparagus, gave them a big drink of water....
was planning on doing a teg friendship garden this year well that fell apart in a manor of speaking ...over extended the garden.poor planning on my part.
but as there is a spot opens up for them they will be planted.

so my friendship garden is going to be extended throughout the season. once back from my incarceration will start a photo bomb starting this weekend to harvest
of course everyone's names will brought up.....<unless you are in the witness protection program>
well off to finish watering, transplanting melons cucumbers and tomatoes and then pack my bags...

4/30/16 returned home yesterday after 4 days up in conover<will post that in common sense>.
we had rain and hail thursday nickel size, few of the children took a beating. got up early this morning to mow the property since it's going to rain tomorrow, the weatherperson got today wrong it was suppose to be partly cloudy and it drizzled the whole time mowing....go figure
almost give up on the muscadine grapes but they are finally popping leafs.
the peas sure did jump...
everyone in the raised beds loved all the rain on thursday.
one of the lettuce/bok choi beds bed on the right is the beets that were lasted last fall..

One person's mid-season may be another's 85 day but I've been wanting to try them. They came free & the plants look good ... finally, some free seed that I actually wanted to grow!
