There is a Federal Standard of Identity for anything called mayonnaise. They all (remembering my 40 yr old MS food science details) are a min of 65% oil and then there is a mandatory and voluntary list of remaining ingredients. Maybe Dukes uses more oil than Hellmans (which is only east coast - its Best Foods on the west coast).
btw: Salad dressing (miracle whip style) has a minimum of 35% oil in the Fed std of Identity.
Went to the Murfreesboro Saturday farmers market at the town square, every tent had every type of squash. Found a couple tents that had strawberries, bought a small basket and the little high pressure sales girl got me to buy a couple peaches..
Blackberries were coming in had a sampler wow twist my head around it was tart had to pass on them...
Looking forward to get home next week so dw and I can go to our farmers market..love buying local
Thank goodness only did 3 plants this year. We give some to friends, dw dries quite a bit and grinds it up for soup base. Of course she makes Rago and freezes it and grills it and make eggplant parm.
