I grow an icebox yellow that is as sweet as any watermelon. I like it because I can eat it at one sitting-if I want.

Nyboy, I buy the mini watermelon at the grocery store. The size is just perfect for us. They are always very good. Could be cause they are coming from Arizona. I look for the yellowist bottom and thump it to hear that hollow sound.

wow our first bad summer storm....... the interstate was a cluster accidents every mile nothing major just fender benders...
we only lost 1 branch on a tree and a few corn stalks bent over<all i can say perfect placement of the pole beans to shield them from the wind>
dw said it lasted about 30 mins and poof gone.....
the nice thing is the ground took all the rain no runoff
