day 4......
really not much happened stopped at the air and space museum at ellsworth air force base... it was nice to walk around and read the history, the inside was a bit boring...

lots of high desert country cattle ,oil rigs, coal mines and road construction..

tic toc only 513 miles left..

hope @thistlebloom has the towns people ready for me..confetti, marching band, key to the city..etc

DH and I used to stop at Al's Oasis when we traveled back and forth from here to Iowa.

the car has been washed waxed and packed........

pulling out tomorrow morning for my 40th high school reunion and getting together with the siblings to spread dads ashes at lake tahoe...

of course stopping along the way to visit some of you... wish i had more time would more of you, but have to bogie back home.. but there will be other trips..

stay tuned for updates....
I wonder how many of you are weeding like crazy in anticipation of this visit!

Lost count of how many x we stopped at Al's Oasis in Chamberlain. It was esPECIALLY fun hauling horses (westbound) bc there is this big hill just SE on the Interstate and, when I drove, I would slow to a crawl at the top and then let gravity take us down it. I would usually hit 65mph before getting to the bottom. Guess I didn't listen well to your route. ;)
