I see this thread died awhile ago...:/

Any other Michiganders out there? I'm in the Kalamazoo area.

If anyone is still on here from Michigan, I just signed up today. Detroit area here. More like Ann Arbor-ish.

I see a lot of familiar people here from BYC. Do you all have green thumbs too?

Time to revive the Michigan thread!

I've been out of it gardening-wise for a while, unless you count buying a few tomato plants from the local nursery and planting a few cukes and peas. But suddenly this year I've ordered seeds from Pinetree Garden Seeds in Maine and am working on an order from Park Seed in SC. I'll fill in what I don't get there at my local nursery and the Burpee and Ferry Morse displays in Alpena.

I'm actually ordering flower seeds which I haven't done in a while because I am notoriously bad at getting them to sprout. But who can go wrong with sunflowers, marigolds and hollyhocks?

So, is anyone from Michigan still out there? Or are you all hiding behind those HUMONGOUS snow drifts outside? ;)
