Do you have butterfly weed Asclepias tuberosa or tropical Asclepias curassavica ? I have both but the tropical isn't perennial.

What ever you do don't plant common milkweed unless you want invasive!! OMG I planted it and will probably be digging it out the rest of my life. Wished I had a field to plant it in!! The Monarchs love it!!

oh yes, for sure, it takes quite a bit to keep it
out of more formal gardens. you need a very good border.

i was tracking roots of just one plant this past summer for
20ft and i'm sure i don't have it all out of there.

i leave them grow in the back in my more chaotic garden.
