I still wonder if it has something to do with the device used to view the site. I'm on a laptop - Win10Pro.

I'd be curious if the people that can see them properly are using some type of iOS device?

It reminds me of the way my phone behaves. Since I've stopped allowing it to update, there are some emoties that DD's phone has that mine does not. (both are android)

i'd think that if you are not allowing a device to update then there are going to be differences... just goes with that decision.

you may be able to find ways to update your browser emoties apart from the OS updates, but i've not really gotten into that sort of thing myself.

i don't like a lot of emoties simply because i can rarely see the differences (they are way too small for me even when i have the fonts larger - i have this gripe about a lot of things that are poorly designed for visual impairments). like if i click on Tools -> Web Developer Tools in my browser (firefox) menu it brings up something so tiny i have to move 3/4 of the way closer to the screen even after i've blown the system fonts up bigger... you'd think that if you've gone through the trouble of making the fonts bigger and telling the browser to always use my selected fonts that it wouldn't ignore those specific requests... however, i've long since realized that nothing is perfect... and i can work around it...

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I do not use my phone to browse the internet, so whether or not it is kept updated has no effect on what is happening here.
