It is strange that the primer did not take care of the problem. I have painted this house a thousand times. The only time I had a problem was went the paint was frozen at some point. That's what the paint store guy said when I returned it. I only use Home Depot paint, Behr. Consumer Reports rated them the best a few years back.

@thistlebloom, think long and hard on this option. Although I love him dearly, he poisons his friends and puts visitors in the hospital. Take his gardening advice and skip the lady, robes, chants and smudge pots. You might lose the faith and friendship of those wonderful new neighbors doing something like that.

Yep, Bay. I stand corrected. Perhaps I didn't want you to fall for @Nyboy's tactics either. How do you keep moose away from your gardens? I know what SPELLS work for me.

Moose have seldom been a garden issue, though they do like to eat the tips of my trees. I'd trade moose for deer any day.

Every spring equinox I go to the southeast corner of the garden, bounce up and down on my right leg three times, and shout Yip, Yip, Yip, Cowee, Cowee three times. Then I skip (not walk) to the northeast corner and repeat this ritual. Then I skip to the northwest, southwest, and back to the starting point closing the gap, repeating the ritual each time. Why? It keeps wild elephants out of the garden. It’s worked ever since I started doing it.

But you say there are no wild elephants in North America. See how effective it is. It not only works for me but it works for everyone on the continent. But there have not been any wild elephants in North America for a long, long time. It’s retroactive. Now that’s a powerful spell.

Haven’t figured one out for moose yet though. Not sure Thistle would really want to totally get rid of them.
