About a month ago this little vine started popping out of an old pot just sitting in the pot graveyard waiting for new plantings, so I moved it to the front yard
(full sun) & this large white flower has popped out. I didn't notice the flower til this evening. I am wondering does this look like a moonflower or is it something else?

It looks like it might be. It has smaller leaves than I think it should. Does the scent increase in the evening? If not moon flower, it is definitely in the same family. Leaf size reminds me more of bind weed but it is surely in the Convolvulaceae Family.

At any rate, it is beautiful! Be sure before you let any seeds spread.

It should grow and vine, giving you many one night stands. I love those plants, but they sure make some tough vines to try to get off your trellis, or what ever you give it to grow on.

I love them, so beautiful, I might have to start some more since this one was a surprise! Each night I take a picture of the new beauty before it dies.
