Woooo.... Now I have a new found respect for the 100's of dragonflies we have in the yard. :D

The dragon flies figured out there is more water at my house (fish pond...duck stock tank...etc..) than the neighbors so they have been hanging out here.

I always loved watching them. Glad they are doing more than just entertaining me :D

As for pesticides...I used to use them. Guess what? They never worked. I have better results by letting the ducks in the garden beds in early spring and in fall to clear out the slugs, rolly pollys and earwigs, using DE as needed (I needed it for flea beetles this year) and soapy water.

:p
Wifezilla, I use DE for my chickens but not my garden. How and why do you use DE for the garden? And, it works on flea beetles? :fl

if you sprinkle it on the ground under your radishes (or whatever else the flea beetles have decided to infest) it disrupts their breeding cycle. If it rains heavily, you will need to reapply.
