Morning pictures

Wow, you have a beautiful garden! I didn't know that you can over winter Begonias I think they are beautiful, but I wouldn't spend that much money on an annual. I might have to buy some of those next year.
Why wait? If not, will soon be give away prices. If it doesn't over winter, not out much.
 
You can grow them inside if you have the proper type of window and cooler temperatures (60s) at night, or you can pack in peat moss or sawdust and store in dark, cool part of basement. I've done it all three ways and find just leaving them in the cool winter sun room works best for me.
 
I am just getting started with my own blank slate. I have planted a few roses, because they are my favorites, but I am going slowly as I figure out how to make the most of my little place. Are Begonias full sun or do they prefer shade? I don't know for sure, but if I remember correctly, they prefer shade, which I don't really have currently. What growing conditions do they prefer? Do I have a place to put them????
