We tried to get rid of those rats here again... they are really persistent. I can't think of anything else to do to get rid of them permanently. any tips?
Inisde or outside?

Inside I just use those traps with the teeth. But they're not dumb animals and so once they get to knowing those I switch it up to a different kind before going back. It's just persistence and placing the traps in their pathways that they might tske on the way to go get food

check out shawn woods on youtube, he has more traps than you can ever possibly try out. i was watching his videos about mouse trapping when i was trying to figure out how the mice were getting into my car (i never did figure out how before i sold the car). i learned a lot about mouse behavior.

Tell me about it. we have the same dilemma, as a matter of fact, as we speak, one cat-sized rat just ran underneath me computer table. They don't even fear me no more

The last warm day we had I watched one of the local squirrels pull an ear of corn off the feeder and plant it, one kernel at a time, into the mud. I mean, I wanted to grow corn this year....just not in the lawn! Hopefully it rots or the squirrel comes back and eats it before it gets warm enough to sprout.

The mice in the house have been really bad this year. Between the cats and the traps, we caught 8 in about five days. I still have nightmares of the night the cat dropped a dead mouse on my bed right next to me while I was sleeping. We have never had problems with rats here, knock on wood.

IF he is taking it off of the cob, no worries. It’ll rot.
