Past 2 days have gone much smoother. They've gotten him in 10 minutes before his scheduled appt and he is out in about 15. So far he is feeling fine and not nauseous. Said he wants to get his old boat out on the water (which has been parked in the garage for many years because he never got much time off to use it) and he had the mantis tiller out yesterday putting in a little garden.

Anyone offers to help, I am surely going to take them up on it.

That's very good to hear that your days have evened out a bit. Good for him for taking an interest in a garden. That's definitely a sign of optimism.
I hope he continues to have good days, and you get some much needed help.
