Hey Journey! It's interesting that you chose Journey, for your TEG name, because this is quite a journey you are on now, with your father's illnesses.

I was just praying for you, your father, your children & the rest of your family (strength, wisdom, courage, comfort, healing, favor, faith & encouragement). I think it's awesome to know people are praying for you. But, I've learned it's also nice to know exactly when they prayed & what they prayed. So, I thought I would let you know, that I just prayed! :hugs

Thank you, @Devonviolet , I really appreciate that. And I think so too!

@Nyboy , The kids think it's a party every day, lol. They are more than happy to get to go to either grandmas' house a couple times a week, lightened schoolwork load for the time being (although they'll wish to take it back when they realize we'll be doing school throughout the summer), frequently eating fast food ( :sick ) because I have no time to cook, and they think hospital cafeterias and gift shops are tourist attractions. I've heard no complaining at all. ;)

Well, after a major knockdown/drag-out, I finally got my brother and sister pitching in to help drive my dad to his treatments. My sister was full of excuses and mostly blamed me saying I should have to tell her what needs done (although I have a fb conversation stating twice over the past month that I needed them to help drive, which went totally ignored.) My brother apologized and actually said he knew he needed to help more, but hasn't been getting along with my dad, which I knew already. So while I expect them both to step up and do the right thing, I've really lost a lot of respect for my sister due to her attitude and how defensive she got when I finally had to say what shouldn't have had to be said. :\
So now I have time to fold laundry today and plant my tomato seeds. :ya

Well, the family likes it or not, but everyone has to help. Family - is not only a celebration of a birthday, wedding, communion children. Although these are the events that make family members to see each other. I am glad that you have the support and time for yourself.

I know how hard it is to ask for help and how easy it can be to drop it when ignored and Just Do It Myself! I am really happy you got them to help. Enjoy the free time, you deserve it. :hugs
