My dog swallowed a ball this morning

There was the ball and then it was gone in an instant. :hit I was horrified as I've never had to deal with anything like it before. Luckily I have some food grade peroxide so got him him home fast, mixed a teaspoon of peroxide into 2 tablespoons of water grabbing a syringe I made the poor lad drink in down, it didn't take long before he was sick bringing the nasty object up with it. Such a relief. So lesson learn no soft squeak balls ever again. 😘 cannot imagine life without my daft old boy

That was a smart decision. If you hadn't gotten it out right away it would be one expensive surgery later.

My friend told me her dog swallowed a dummy and it cost over £300. Money aside, the journey and the wait because of distancing I really didn't think he'd survive, let alone the surgery.
