While I was compiling my thread on allotments around the world I kept finding many really interesting smaller personal blogs (& sites) compiled by very interesting vegetable & fruit gardeners. A lot of them are "obsessed" by certain types of vegetables etc & have dedicated their gardening lives to them so I thought it might be fun to collect together & learn from their information & experience, on our site.
Please add any interesting ones you find.

Here is my first offering! :happy_flower

http://populuxe.ca/blog/ ******THIS BLOG works for me in the UK but I understand it doesn't come through in the US......?? :(

SO I am ADDING THIS ONE as a consolation.......!! :D

Hattie, you may be wondering why no one has responded to this.

Well, it is disconcerting that the message is "Server not found" - when we click on the link. I did a google search and it does show that there was recently a "populuxe.ca/blog/". I wonder what the problem is :/.

Now that I'm here . . . I'll just link to my friend Craig's blog. He certainly covers the bases . . . uh, that's a baseball term. But, oh boy, does he ;)!

Anyway, don't be discouraged by the absent of response, Hattie. Post another favorite, please :)!

Well......I thought it was just my lame server. I kept getting the message that the page couldn't be displayed. That happens a lot here, with Knology, but, sooner or later, it will display it.....usually.

Gardening in containers is catching on fast and the eBucket is a great container, simple to build, inexpensive and very productive.

Our goal is to FEED THE WORLD , ONE BUCKET AT A TIME. This blog shows how it can be done.

Thank you Steve & boggy b for your additions -- I love them. Keep 'em comin'.........!! :D

I'm adding this one because I love her recipes, using the veg, fruit etc that she grows & that's what it is all about, after all.....!! :throw I'm a gready person....!! It gives me huge satisfaction to know all these riches are just down my garden path. A lot of them never find their way up to the kitchen as they are munched beside the plants. I get my breakfast all through the summer that way -- I just take my mug of coffee out with me.......! :celebrate

"Summertime" Hattie? We still have a temperature of 39F in the late morning (4C), there's rain, snow and frost in next week's forecast . . .

Hey, that person is a good garden cook, Hattie!

Here's another garden blog I came across. The guy is on the radio in central California. He describes it as, "Sort of like the radio show, only with somewhat better grammar":

The Farmer Fred Rant
