O.K...I hate you people that have such biggggg, beautiful plots! ;) My husband says "hate" is a very strong word, so sorry :(

I just wished I had that much space (sigh)... Why do I live in this concrete jungle with such a tiny yard? :idunno

Your garden/space looks so beautiful to me. :) So much green!

I grew up in LA Mary and I totally know what your talking about. Most people in urban areas live in condo/apartments with no access to dirt. I move here to Louisiana and I have a huge yard for Cali but still live in a subdivision on less than 1/4 acre. Some time I think I wish I had more room but then that would cause me to do more yard work. I hate mowing. Ok so I am lying my husband hates mowing. I don't mind it from my window view!

What are you planting in your "new" garden?
The big one? I have planted:
4 types of Sun Flowers
3 lettuce mixes
5 tomato plants
1 lavender plant
1 chive plant
1 carrot mix
Moon and Star Watermelons
2 types of pumpkins
1 gourd mix
Goose neck Gourds
Speckled Hound (winter squash)

and I still need to plant:
Ronde de Nice (Summer squash)
Sugar Baby (watermelon)
carrots
Golden Bantam (corn)
Scarlet Runner (beans)

How big are those fenced plots? I am always curious as to how much other people are planting in what kind of space.

I'll measure them soon, but the big ones fence came came in a 50ft long piece and you can see that I have some left over, but it gives you an idea on size.
