Happy acres, I plant my cabbage in the fall. It grows slower through the winter, but the worms don't eat it up. I planted 9 green and 9 red cabbage plants last fall. We have 1 green cabbage and 5 red cabbages left in the garden. They survived 2 snows and 2 ice storms here. It is interesting to me how we all have such different planting times and methods.

Don't have a lot of trouble with worms, but Japanese beetles are horrific! They especially like to eat my beans! Grrrr!

It's been raining every two days here. So the garden hasn't dried out enough to get the rest tilled. However, I'm going to plant the herbs and such in pots. Maybe even some of the other veggies! Where there's a will, there's a way!

Thunder storms and pouring rain for two days now. I won't be off again until the weekend. Maybe it'll be dry enough to get in the garden and actually do something by then.
