Is that something you on a regular routine? I've never heard of giving chickens a wet bath. We sometimes sprinkle them with Bentonite Clay or Diatomaceous Earth.

About once a month, it's been well over six weeks this time around. I use a natural oil based soap, castile with vinegar and Epsom to free up any bugs. Then oil their feet then then clay. They seem to do well no sticky bottom or fly problem here, we have had a vast amount of flies this year so playing safe.

One had a bit of bumble foot and a sticky bottom plus she stopped laying after I did this and a few tricks mentioned in BYC she started laying again and bumble foot healed
