Beautiful :rose :thumbsup
I bought 2 roses for myself for mother's day. I almost bought "Enchanted Evening" it smelled so good at the nursery, but decided on "Sweetness" a grandiflora instead because the plant was looked healthier and they didn't have much to choose from. The other rose was "Sedona" where we got married:)

I have room for 2 more roses in my "formal" bed and I would like to add a pink like Memorial Day or Aromathapy and the yellow Radiant Perfume.

I think my next rose is going to be the "Citrus Splash" Shrub Rose. I really like the look and it is said to have a citrus sent.

I have a Lavender climbing rose and a old "Mr. Lincoln Rose" Hybrid Tea at my parents house that I still have to get ( been putting it off for 6 years now  ) but I am going to have to stop putting it off and get them.

The lavender roses were always my FIL's favorites. I don't think they make a lavender rose that doesn't smell so sweet. They all have a wonderful scent. Some people go for the flair, some people most value the scent! The nights have been balmy and the air heavy here lately. Roses and honeysuckle hanging in the night air. I love sitting on the porch this time of year! :happy_flower

I know what you mean about the balmy nights its but hot up here in OH but, I will put up with the heat as long a someone turns off mother natures sprinkler system LOL. We have had all kinds of rain here and I'm just now getting to work the gardens.

The sad thing about that Lavender rose is that I had promised my wife a Purple rose about 6 years ago and I just got it for her this spring. (She is a very patience wife........ When it comes to the gardens)

That's beautiful, Chris. Makes me miss my "Angel Face" rose that I left our old house when we moved. It bloomed like crazy and the scent was wonderful!
