Savor every nut and bolt!

Take your time and you will really fill this with Great Energy!

I am envisioning this packed to the brim with plants!

I bought the exact same thing this summer. For the price I was very impressed. The instructions said to have at least three people helping you, but I put it up by myself with exception to the roof. My wife helped me sit the trusses in place. I don't plan on trying to keep it heated all winter but plan on raising a few more plants in the spring and trying to extend the growing season a little bit.

This is response to Joe on Greens thread about his greenhouse.
Finally got back to the task (rain stopped). If you look at the 4th post in this thread you'll notice the boxes sitting on my deck. I am going to erect this deal on this deck but after I saw those pics I posted and took a good look at the crud on those boards I decided they needed a good power washing.
Well 2 power washers, a couple gallons of bleach and a gallon of deck wash later, the task is finished.
Tomorrow should be my start to build day.
I think I'll forgo the younger help, they want to start way earlier than I ever intend to get up!!!!

Got a little dark but this is the start of the g/house, there are alum. floor plates attached to the steel base and the corner posts have been attached to the floor plates (excuse the nasty old table but I needed something to lay all the small parts on)

This evening I have been putting some sub assy together, vents, gutters, door tracks and misc. braces.
I'm still quite amazed by this kit, every part I have touched so far has been very nice.
Standard disclaimer here, I am not associated with Harbor Freight or the mfg. of this kit.

Had a good day today, with good help for an hour or so. You can kinda tell it's a structure.

Hi Dickiebird,

Are you sure you're going to be able to move it off the deck later?

Is there no yard or ground area for you to do this? I really hate to see you lose the deck!

The deck is its home. We haven't used this area in the last few years, and I wanted some place to start plants that was close to the house and this looked good to me. Last winter I had about 300 plants started from seed in our back room, I had temp benches and tables covering the whole room. This next growing season I'll have my own area to do my thing. I'd also like to get some flowers and roses going this winter.
WE'll see!!!

Been working between showers, actually spent some of the last few days out in the drizzle and mist. But I did get a bit done.

I am still quite impressed with this kit. Most things I have ever bought as a kit comes up short on parts, this one has packages marked as extra hardware, and most of it truely is extra.

Framework is complete with the 4 vents glazed and installed
