OK, I guess I am asking is a fall crop harvested in that same fall or planted for the next year? Do you have enough time planting in July to still get potatoes that same year?
My second crop of potatoes going in..

In my zone 4- I plant potatoes in early spring and harvest in the fall. Potatoes would not over winter here... maybe other places they would. I am guessing in zone 6, you might have a chance for potatoes in the late fall, if you were to plant in July.
