Figured this would be fun. The fruit trees are starting to bloom, so I guess some of you will be having pictures of yours too.

As of last week (hooray!!!) we put in our last 3 trees for the grand total of 9. 4 Apple, 3 Peach and 2 Pear!
Apple:
Lodi (2)
Red Johnathon (2)

Peach:
Flavor Crest
Alberta (2)

Pear:
D'anjou
Pineapple

Our Flavor crest peach is covered in blooms, and it looks like the pears may be next.

Here's all 9 trees:

We have 12 fruit trees thus far

5 Apple (Gala, and something else I can't remember the name of LOL, 3 of them are from last season and the other 2 are from the season before that)

2 D'anjou Pear (need to buy a pear of another variety to go with these to get something out of them)

3 Nectarine (not sure of variety, but I know its a hardy variety)

2 Cherry

The nectarines' buds are starting to look like something is happenin', I need to dormant spray them end of March/Beginning of April but theres been lots of rain!

We decided on the D'anjou Pear, and my neighbor has a pear of some kind... but my husband insisted on buying a Pineapple pear last week. I was happy to read the pineapple is resistant to fire blight which is bad in the south among pears.

This fruit tree thing is addicting! :tools

I meant to buy something last year but couldn't decide and came upon a local garden centre a little late. They didn't have any stock of the tree I wanted/needed left but they tell you what goes best with what tree, which is nice lol.

We're buying more apple trees this spring, a couple of fruiting crabapple (great for pies!!) and a lovely big lilac tree (the kind that is purple and heavily fragrant).

Nice pictures vfem, that picture of the peach flower is pretty. My fruit trees are almost starting to open the blossoms maybe in a few more days. I have 3 Cherries trees , 1 apple, 2 apricot trees, and 7 fig trees should be blooming soon can't wait to take pictures of these, except the figs of course that dont get flowers. I'm looking to add at least one peach tree as well, gardening is so addicting but very fun and rewarding.

We had four fruit trees but recently discovered that our apple tree has black rot so we will be replacing it soon. We still have a nectarine, plum, and orange; plus a lemon that hangs over our fence from the back neighbor's yard. I would really love a pear, but I don't know if we have any more room!

I am planning on trying this as a way to create a living fence between my neighbor's property and my own. It looks like you are just training it like you would a grape vine, but it takes more training and pruning then that to get the shapes you can get.

I thought, how cool would it be to do this and create a maze in which you can have a pick your own orchard. You start picking at one end of the maze and have to find your way out!

What fun! :D
