I planted 5 seeds this spring and only 4 took. Since we planned to be moved out by now, I had already moved 3 to containers. They're dying. But this guy is flourishing :D Just thought I'd share.

Don't mind all my weeds :/ Like I said, we should have been out of here by now, so I haven't been tending to my garden as I should have.

Wow - it looks so healthy! It's so windy by me that mine are always small or beat up.

I should take another picture. It's double its size surely. I've never planted sunflowers, I wonder how high it'll get before flowers bud?

It's a Russian Mammoth or something like that.

Oh gosh I love sunflowers! Yours are fabulous. I love their big primeval leaves too.

Weeds? I don't see any weeds....:watering

That's a great sunflower. Mine is a lot thinner but I'm growing "Moulin Rouge" variety.

Russian Mammoths get pretty big, we had some one year that went past the house, about 12 feet high. We had to stake them!
