I have lettuce, radishes, etc. ready to eat. Beans, peas, broccoli, kale, and cabbage will give me an early crop.

It's funny how you say 'early' and most of my greens have bolted and I never got to enjoy them because of this weather. :p It's like winter and spring never came and gave way to SUMMER!!!!!!!

It almost looks like your soil is pure compost, Cat'!

I thought New England gardens are known for rocks ;). It looks like a very fertile and comfortable location.

Here, wind gusts above 35mph with frequent sunbreaks. At least it is afternoon and warm enuf for a little outside air.

35 years if manure etc. I am so surprised when I see soil from other parts of the country that looks like little rocks but grows a great crop.

Cat, is that the greenhouse that you've had for 30+ years? I would love to have one like that. Maybe someday before I'm too ancient.

Your crops look good, and beautiful soil too :) .

No. Ill put up pictures of the other one. I got this tunnel from craig's list for $450.00-I think the new ones go for several thousand. Had this 3 years.

This greenhouse is not heated but it is open to the rest of the heated house. The roof is well insulated and I think we get more solar gain than we pay to add heat to it.
