My green beans do not look anything like the package. These are really long 12 to 16 inches and very thin. I am trying to find the package so that I can call/write and complain. I will take a picture on the morrow so that yall might be able to tell me what they are. They taste good though

As long as they taste good you shouldn't worry about it but if you wanted a different variety i would complain. Maybe the picture will help to figure out what variety you have.

What variety did you plant? This sounds really long for a normal variety. The almost sound like a type called "Yard Long".

Are your beans on a bush or vine ? Could they be asparagus Beans?

They are on a vine, I went out to take a picture this morning and the battery was dead. I do promise a picture in the morning when I wont sweat all over the Nikkon.

I did have some in the cabbage/brauts meal tonight. Tasty, just not what was advertised on the package. I wish I could find that darn package. I even dated it (put a date on it, not went out with it).

Gosh... it looks like a shoe string, or like a drippy green icicle!?

Looks like Chinese yard long beans (AKA "asparagus beans") to me.

Technically green beans, used like green beans for all green bean purposes, but definitely a far cry from Blue Lake, if that's what you were looking for.
