Thank You. I confirmed your post by doing a google image search (wonderful tool that) on asparagus beans. I do appreciate it. They do taste good.

check the prices of those in the grocery store you scored for sure I would much rather have the yard long beans than a green been

enjoy!!! google recipes for yard long or asparagus beans you will have fun with those!

I planted some and hope I get them and not the green beans :p

I'll agree on that, also.

I've grown them once but they "push" the limits here for growing temperatures and length of season. The flavor is great and probably more similar to snap beans than they should be.

Yard long (asparagus) beans are, after all, a separate genus and species.

:woot I knew it had to be Asparagus beans :clap

I started mine in the greenhouse and transplanted them in my straw bales.
Here is how they were looking today



I can't wait till mine are producing beans , :clap Texan, I sure hope they look as great as yours do :ya
