Mystery Flowering Shrub

I have this flowering shrub very close to a beautiful Rose of Sharon bush. I'm afraid it's going to take over the Rose of Sharon. Any ideas what it is? It's about 10 feet tall, and the pictures are taken from a window above. I don't think it's a honeysuckle....

Fairly sure it is Kolkwitzia, "beauty bush", a good ol' victorian-age standby and relative of honeysuckles.

Yeah - beauty bush :) my grandma would make me prune hers (butcher it, really) to try and keep it under control. I though it looked better unpruned!

Thanks everyone! That helps! It definitely needs serious pruning so it doesn't destroy the Rose of Sharon next to it (which you can't even see in the picture).
